As Humphreys close itself is a private close, we were assigned in our land registry deeds the green strip down the right hand side of the close as you look from the main road. Whilst we pay to maintain the native hedging along this length as it was planted by us we have not touched the trees labelled on the plan below since we moved here 18 years ago. These trees have grown far beyond their original size and are now not only hanging over our side but also the neighbours garden in Number 87 (Leafy Oaks). We have spoken to them and they are supportive of this request to tidy them up.Note: We have not yet consulted a tree surgeon on these proposals so would be led by them on the exact places to cut etc
