Type:
Full and householder planning application
Status:
Application withdrawn before a decision was taken
Address:
FLAT 15, TABARD CENTRE, PRIORESS STREET, LONDON
Description:
To change a window into a doorway by removing the brickwork beneath. The developers (during the 90s) changed a doorway into a window. It was suggested by a Southwark Building Control (Mr Scofield, I think) to change this into a doorway. There is no exit to the outside from this room. We have applied for listed building consent to Tracy Chapman who has accepted the application but after a discussion (within the council) informed us to apply for planning permission. We originally purchased the appartment as a shell and have made numerous changes but we needed to put in a mezzanine and a proper kitchen and mezzanine and we knocked through to bring in building materials. We have kept Tracy Chapman fully informed and we have had Mr Tom Furness, Building Control, inspecting it. We need further work doing plus some suggestions made by Mr Furness to comply with Building Control. This is planned for late November-December but is not definite. See below- our works are not complete but the doorway is.
