English Oak.Reasons :- The tree is showing signs of significant dieback, moderate to high levels of major deadwood in the crown- 1.5m from ground level. Major decay. Significant tissue swelling around the decay indicates a structural weakness.- 1.5m from ground level. "Inonotus hispidus" fungal bracket present.- 7m from ground level, south side major 10" die. limb. Lateral crack present since 2012. Limb overhangs public footpath.- Over the past five years we have monitored this tree we have noticed a significant decline.
