- Description:
- Laurus Nobilis (T1) - Reduce the height and crown by 2 metres to bring the tree to an overall height of approximately 5 metres. Tree is of low amenity value. It has been allowed to grow freely without maintenance and a reduction to control the growth and improve the shape would be a benefit to the tree. Quercus Robur (T2) - Reduce left side of tree by 2 metres to improve the balance of the crown. The tree has grown out on the left side as a result of a tree that used to grow on the right of it. Aesculus Hippocastanum (T3) - Full crown reduction by upto 3 metres on each stem to a suitable growth point. The tree has a large cavity on the trunk around three meters up. The cavity is calusing however the open wound is approximately 50cm x 100cm. The inside of the cavity is damp and there is large areas of white rot. If the tree failed as a result the likely direction it would fall will be onto the Higher Anderton Road. Acer Campestre (T4) - Remove Tree and re plant with Acer Campestre of a height of three metres. Tree is multi stemmed and has major areas of rot in the base with cavities on some of the stems. The centre stem of the tree has died. The branch at the rear of the tree broke off in the summer of 2019 causing damage to a wall.
