Description:
Tree number - T1 Tree type - Lawson Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsniana) Approx Height - 12m Approx Spread - 5m Location - Front garden in middle of driveway near house Service - Fell Work required- Dismantle tree as close to tree's current ground level as possible and leave the stump in the ground Reason - Tree is located very close to the clients property with hard standing surface (driveway) around trees entire base, presuming resulting in suppressed root growth, significant areas of damage to drive from tree roots posing severe trip hazard and extensive continued repair. Small decaying cavity at trees base, although minor at present if the decay persists there is potential the trees integrity could be compromised. Tree is twin stem with an included union, minimum compression at present but reaction wood either side of union suggests loading stresses exist. The severity of failure is heightened due to trees close proximity to the house. Underground water piping very close and around base of tree with two man hole covers almost right up against trees base, assuming high potential for root damage to pipe works. Property has history of subsidence issues where a large tree in similar proximity had to be removed as concluded to be contributor to the subsidence. Artemis to supply and plant x1 Field Maple (Acer campestre) at 200-250cm tall to replace TPO tree
