- Bay tree - fell because it's ugly, offers of excessive shading to me and to my neighbour, and has no amenity value. I will replant with something more attractive. The tree is about 20 feet high and consists of 6 separate stems varying in diameter from 3 inches to about 7. It sways wildly in strong winds and one or more stems are bound to break sooner or later.
