The tree is a horse chestnut and is located to the rear of our house at 17 parsonage road. Tree number 1 on the sketch plan. We are requested felling of the tree. The tree is within the heaton moor conservation area. Although the tree is not covered by a TPO, the reason that we are requesting felling of tree is that it is diseased (has bleeding canker) and substantially overhangs our garden (we have small children and don't want them playing under a diseased tree).
