- Address:
- Pine Trees, Arrowsmith Road, Wimborne,
- Description:
- T1: Oak tree - Fell to ground level and replant with 1 x Common Oak. The tree is heavily weighted in the direction of the main house with an excessively unbalanced canopy. On inspection, the base of the tree has been damaged by rats and there is evidence of decay and loose bark at the base which, indicates that the root system may be compromised. This causes major concerns to owner as the unstable tree puts person and property at high risk. A heavy reduction to reduce the weight of this tree seems an unfavourable option as this would leave an unnatural looking tree, requiring regular management. It would also be detrimental to the health of the tree. the removal of this tree would have low visual impact while there is another healthier specimen directly behind.
