An initial application to reduce the above silver birch in height was approved under PP-06275266Now that the tree is out of leaf the owner is concerned it has already outgrown the space, with there not being many sufficient internal growing points to reduce the tree back to a reasonable size for its front lawn location. The tree owner is concerned that the form of the tree will be spoiled as it is difficult to see how it can be sympathetically reduced with little substantial natural target branches and that it is perhaps the wrong species for its mid lawn location.They have requested permission to remove the tree as the area is well stocked.
