- I have a large beech tree in my gardenwhich together with the other large treescreates deep shade within most of the area. Very few plants are able to grow in this shade. Also there is a very high level of leaf fall from this deciduous tree in the Autumnwhich destroys the grass which is struggling to grow beneath it.I would like to remove this tree and plant a smaller oneof a different varietyallowing more light into the gardenand therefore more opportunity to grow other plants. It would also allow us to enjoy a sunnier aspect to the garden and give it more use as a family.
