- T1. Pine. Remove tree. This tree causes considerable nuisance to Mrs Biro, the owner of 8 Faithfull Close, as stated in her application to remove this tree in 2013. The nuisance problems include : shedding of needles into garden space and various associated insect life, pigeons roosting and then defecating into garden space below, shedding clouds of pollen which causes chest/breathing issues, unsightly appearance and inappropriate location. There is also an arboricultural reason for seeking consent to remove the tree. The tree forks at 3 metres which results in a tree with poor structural form and reduced safe useful life expectancy. Also, the tree does not have a high amenity value. The latter two points were stated as sufficient to warrant AVDC granting consent to remove this tree in 2013 and we believe the same reasons are valid today.
