Description:
T27 : Box Elder. Removal to ground level. Until recently, there was a Silver Birch growing through the crown of this tree. This was "Remove for reasons of sound arboricultural management" following approval by Three Rivers. Subsequently, the Box Elder that remains is very mishapen with the majority of its crown growing towards the property . The vertical limbs are now very leggy and do not have the support, previously given to them by the Silver Birch. The tree is also casting a lot of shade over the property.I did consider a 3m reduction but im very conscious of how reactive Box Elder are and im concerned that within 1-2 years , the crown will be as big but 4 times as dense. My client is very happy to replant in its place but would prefer something a little less vigorous.
