T1 - Mature sweet chestnut on boundary with Courtlands Crescent- Fell to ground level. The tree is located close to the curb of Courtlands crescent and due to parking restriction in the local area the tree has been subject to multiple impacts from passing Lorries and larger vehicles ( evidence of this can be seen in attached site plan). The tree is predominantly one sided and has a relatively small canopy of poor form. Removal and replacement of the tree with a suitable species would prevent further damage occurring to the main stem and allow the tree's behind more space to grow. Replacement would allow the council to insure that the street maintains its green appeal and insure that valuable tree stock is not lost. If placed correctly the replacement tree could grow into one with a better crown and structure in a more suitable location. Replacement 12-14 standard 3.5-4 meters in height
