- Description:
- Lyme (Tree 1) - Fell because of root damage to low wall, proximity to the house, shading which precludes installation of solar panels and damage to roof from dropped leaf waste, significant moss build up and blockage of gutters and downspouts. Roots are also causing damage to electrical ducting where the mains cables feed into the building and making the paving at the front of the house uneven. We intend to replant a more appropriate & lower crown breed such as beech, birch or cherry as advised. TPO#: 176E, TPO#: 193E.

- Description:
- Lime Tree (1) - fell because of excessive shading, damage to roof ridge tiles and guttering, significant build up of moss on the roof, there is also significant leaf mulch which causes blockages in our drains that requires regular clearing during the autumn months. This also gives concern and ponding at the low point where the entrance to the drain is at the front of our house when we get heavy rainfall which has been regularly recently. We intend to replant a more appropriate Birch, Beech or Cherry as advised by Adam from ProArb Tree Services.Lime Tree (2) - fell because of excessive shading, damage to roof ridge tiles, significant dropping causing build up on the roof of both moss, leaf mulch, branches and despite regular clearing the ingress of plant roots below the ridge tiles leading to their loss last winter requiring an emergency repair. This tree also being very close to the house gives us concern for the potential for foundations damage. The shading to the roof and significant leaf waste makes it impractical to install solar panels as there is too much risk of build up of waste leading to a risk of fire and also significant reduction in the efficiency of solar panels. We intend to replant Beech, birch or cherry as advised by Adam Dinsdale from ProArb Tree Services who has surveyed the site.Fir Tree (3) - fell and replant with a more appropriate species, being between 2 large Lime trees has made this grow taller than ideal and it has become misshapen to the point where trimming will not bring it back to an appropriate shape. Lime Tree (4) - fell due to excessive shading, significant moss/leaf/branch build up on our roof leading to blockage of gutters, downspouts and grains despite regular clearing of gutters. Shading to the roof and significant leaf waste makes it impractical to install solar panels as there is too much risk of build up of waste leading to a risk of fire and also significant reduction in the efficiency of solar panel.
