The tree is a mature Ash and the proposal is to remove. The reasons for this are as follows:-*Whilst it is not fully diseased, many large branches are diseased and have fallen to the ground, both on our property and the pavement, which could easily cause serious injury or death due to their large size.*The tree is multi-stemmed and therefore presents a far greater risk in future of partially falling down*The tree roots are lifting the public pavement which will present a significant tripping hazard*The tree is now very large and some branches are now very near to our house. HAR/CA29.It is worth mentioning that we have taken advice from John Oliver, a professional and respected tree surgeon from Chelford, who assisted with the above reasons. You will see from your records he has successfully done other tree work at our property. I would also like to mention that there are so many mature trees in the vicinity that there would be no noticeable impact once this tree is removed.ThanksGeoff Durbin
