Description:: We have 9 trees on our lawn, which include 2 x Oak trees. Both Oaks are very close to our horse paddock. We would like to trim the branches back on the larger of the 2 trees which are near to the paddock fence and completely remove the smaller Oak tree, which is the closer of the 2, to the fence. The main reason for the request is, that both Oaks are shedding acorns over the fence and into the horse paddock. We have been advised that acorns are highly toxic to horses and we're quite worried about this. The 2 trees are also very close to each other and are now to such a size, that their foliage is joining together. If someone would like to come and view/advise, they'd be very welcome. We have a qualified tree surgeon available to carry out the work, if it's ok to proceed.
