Address:
Glenrosa Road From Trevallion Park To Spindrift Trolver Croft Feoc
Description:
2 Spruce to rear of Garage. Fell the tree, as proposed in approved application PA14/09029 in the Tree Report (T2). Replanting is not necessary here as there are several oak saplings establishing to the north west which will form suitable long term replacements. There is clear evidence of surface root growth displacing recently re-laid paving some 6-7m to the south. Also in this area is a foul drain pipe. Although I was not shown any evidence of damage to the drain it is possible that root growth could also cause displacement of the pipe causing it to fail and roots to gain access. There are low descending branches close to the garage roof. The tree has moderate local amenity but in the wider landscape the broadleaved trees will be of more significance.3 Spruce to SE of house. Fell. This tree is too young to be included in the TPO so this is for information only. There is a young self-seeded Turkey oak (not subject to the TPO) beside it which has greater long term potential but which will be adversely affected by competition from the spruce
