T1 Ash - to be felled and replaced with flowering ornamental species close to site of T1.Reasons for removal:- the tree has become too large for its situation, and is causing concern for residents particularly during strong winds given proximity to residential property and roadside. - residents are increasingly concerned that the tree is destabilising the bank and retaining wall which is on the side of a well used pavement and road. The adjacent road is part of the no.4 bus route.- the roots have caused significant damage to steps , retaining wall and pathway in the garden of No. 28 Pitch and Pay Park, the area is now very uneven and a considerable trip hazard. (please note the tree was worked on 4-5 years ago and none of the aforementioned damage was in evidence at that point)
