Type:
Tree and hedge works
Status:
Decision has yet to be made
Address:
24 The Crescent Nottingham
Description:
The trees to work on are a cluster of 3 mature Laylandii As shown above, the trees are positioned within 2 meters of the rear of the property They are roughly 8 meters from a large fir tree (which I understand is under a preservation order) I do not believe the Laylandii are specifically under a preservation order The Laylandii have grown significantly over the last 5 years. This causes three problems i) Blocking view from upstairs windows ii) Risk of damage to property from adjacent branches iii) Blocking access path that runs between the Laylandii and the property The proposed work is to i) Trim the tops of the Laylandii to bring their height to be level with the ground floor ii) Prune excess branches I would like to complete this work before the end of February, as the trees are used for nesting by a variety of small birds
