As a result, make them a greater danger to the publicthat the tree of this application is presenting at the present time, It is thought the problemsexpressed in the application can be addressed through lesser means and enable the retention of thethis tree and the group. For this reason, the council cannot justify the removal of this tree at thepresent time.Allowance of lesser works:From the site visit it is felt that the pollarding of this tree and the adjacent trees to below the upperdecay points in their crowns and would make the trees far safer and enable their long-term retention.Prior to any work being carried out a site meeting is to be had with the council arboricultural officer to discuss the intended work and its restrictions.
