Description:: There is a weeping ash tree at the front of our Lawn. It is dying and most of the branches have fallen off, 2 large ones in the last fortnight. There is one large branch remaining and this has a large split down the middle. I am concerned about the tree falling and as it is in such a poor state think it needs felled completely as soon as possible.Ideally I would like to replant a tree in the same position but am not sure about the feasibility of this. I need advice about this and whether it should be the same species or something smaller with the location being so close to a main road. I have attached some photos. Some of these have been taken by our tree surgeon Jonny from Hindle and Brown 2 weeks ago and some by me after the large branch fell off. I can send more photos if needed.
