Description:
Roof works to include removal of existing dark grey roof slates and leadwork. Lead weir behind comice to be fixed. Render to be replaced with lime render and Keim mineral paint. Iron balcony railings, decorative supports and metal bracing at front porch will be corrosion proofed. Other repair work includes repointing of any missing mortar on brickwork with lime mortar, repair of chipped porch triglyphs and any other chipped architectural detail and the exterior painting of ail surfaces. Asphalt balcony flooring at first floor level will be inspected and repaired due to deterioration and leaking. If necessary to prevent future damage to structure below, it will be 'epiaced with the identical material, colour and finish, and downpipe will be repaired as required with cast iron to match original. At third floor rear, modern rear balcony flooring will be renewed with the Centaur waterproofing system. Glazing bars at modern rear roof lantern will be inspected and overhauled as required and bottom of modem timber vault door frame at basement level will be repaired. Any historic timber windows requiring repair will be repaired with Window Care resin and any reglazing done with linseed oil putty. Damaged or missing flaunchings at chimney will be renewed with lime render.
