- In addition to the safety works to dead trees recommended within the report there are a number of small-medium sized plantation trees (approx 5-10) which have been windblown and are lodged in adjacent trees but with enough roots retained to maintain live growth. Although these are not posing any significant risk to users of the footpath we would like to fell these to ground level as part of good woodland management and also to reduce the risk to people within the woodland itself.
