Address:
78 Stafford Road Stone Staffordshir
Description:
Remove Ash Tree - T5 of TPO NSU 1 of 1952. The tree has been heavily pollarded several years ago after falling branches brought down the telephone lines. The tree has re-grown from the pollard points. The pollard points have deteriorated and started to rot and are no longer strong enough to hold the re-growth. The tree needs to be reduced below the old pollard points, it would then lose its amenity value. It is therefore recommended to remove the tree. This would also open up the space let more light into the flats behind and the view to the oak tree beyond. It would also remove the ongoing problems with the phone line.It is proposed to replant appropriately along the front boundary of the property to avoid the telephone pole. The owners of the tree have been consulted and have agreed to its removal.
