Address:
170 Lymington Avenue, Wood Green, London,
Description:
We have a tree in our garden (the tree surgeon said it was a Sorbus aucuparia, although it doesn't produce berries so we're not sure - pictures provided). It was planted around 10 years ago by tenants who were letting the house. We propose to have it removed completely. It was planted c 10 years ago and is not under a tree preservation order. Our reasons for removing the tree are that it has grown very quickly and has not been looked after; it is blocking out light from our garden; it is pushing under the fence to the garden of 91 Hewitt Avenue; it impinges on the pavement of Salisbury Road. We would not replant the tree however we would like to replace the AstroTurf with a lawn and plant flowerbeds; currently we can't do this as the tree blocks all light.
