50 Roman Road Lowestoft Suffol
Description:
Householder Prior Notification - We are looking to add a small extension to the back of our house to improve our living space, the room is currently being used as a Utility Room which we would like to open up into a Garden Room with a lantern rooflight measuring 3m x 2m, bi-fold doors measuring 2.7m x 2.1m in height, and a window measuring 3m x 0.3m, which will be fitted at a height of 1.6m from the ground. This involves adding to a previous extension by 2m in length and 0.5m in width. The earlier extension was built in November 1948 and provides us with 2 separate rooms, the room closest to the original house gives us a cloak room leading into a small sperate toilet (the toilet was part of the original house) and we are not looing to make any changes to this area. We would like to extend the secondroom which will open out into our spacious garden. The width of previous extension is 3m narrowing down to just 1.8m as it joins onto the separate toilet built within the original house. Shown on our supporting documents in red.The current length of the existing room(s) is 4m on the longest side and 3.2m on the shortest. Shown on our supporting documents in red.The height of the existing room is 2.5m when measuring outside, and 2.3m when measuring indoors, where we will be adding the lantern rooflight to.By adding on our desired measurements of 2m x 0.5m this would allow our Garden Room to be 4m x 3.5m in size, when adding this to the current extension itgives us a total extended space of 6m x 3.5m on the right hand side, and 5.2m x 1.8m on the left hand side. Shown on our supporting documents.Within the supporting documents we have added a yellow line which splits the original house and the earlier extension which was built in November 1948.The current extension, along with the back part of our existing house, are detached from both neighbouring properties.
