Status:

Address:
68 BEACONSFIELD ROAD, BLACKHEATH, LONDON
Description:
T1 - Cedar tree in the front garden. We have previously gained permission to balance this tree and reduce for safety. We are now seeking permission to fell it for safety reasons. When the tree was climbed for the reduction we noticed some huge cavities in it. The customer is extremely worried about the safety of the tree going into the Autumn/winter and last week another branch fell from it. I was asked to write in this box a message for Debbie requesting a 5 day application when I phoned the Greenwich tree office last week, her manager answered in her absence. We are applying for a 5 day application to fell this tree after closer inspection of the cavities and after listening to the customers concerns. The customer is perfectly happy to replant in its place a fairly mature tree as she is sad to see the tree go and understands that in a conservation area you would be keen to see another tree be planted.
