Planning applications
May 2022
- Type:
- Tree and hedge works
- Status:
- Status not known
- Address:
- 10 Firs Close Whitchurch Buckinghamshir
- Description:
- The tree is listed as - LE_TPO_TLC_SP_VIEW2, T1 HORSE CHESTNUTSince it was last pruned/trimmed about 5/6 years ago, it has now grown significantly so that the canopy is about 25m round and 25m tall. It is now covering about 50/60% of our garden and encroaching our house conservatory and garden office. The result of this is significant bird and animal faeces and tree debris over the garden and patio which with children playing is really concerning. It also means that we cannot use the patio for eating or sitting due to the risk of fresh faeces/debris falling on the family. We are also concerned about the risk of more significant damage to the property with larger branches falling onto the house, conservatory or garden office. We have sought a professional tree surgeon who has recommended a 25/30%- 6-7m back to previous points reduction to the canopy, mainly on our side, as the growth has been slower on the northern side This will regain the garden back for family use for another 5/6 years.
