T2 2 x Prunus cerasefera "Nigra" (Cherry Plum) Remove epicormics growth and damaged branches as part of a "Crown Cleaning" operation. T3 Acer platanoides (Norway Maple) Crown reduce lower half of tree by shortening lateral growth by 1-2m cutting to suitable branch forks using "Drop Crotch" pruning techniques to maintain natural form whilst allowing more light beneath the tree. T4 prunus cerasefera "Nigra" (Cherry Plum) This young tree is growing as part of the hedge along the drive boundary fence. It now exceeds the stem width where consent is required. The works proposed are to shorten the upper branches by 2-3m to clear the adjacent building but still leave a branch structure above the hedge line. T5 Ginko biloba (Maidenhair Tree) To remove this young tree as it will restrict light to the vegetable area to the north and the lawn area. The rest of the site has numerous mature trees. The owner has proposed planting a new Ginko elsewhere on site as the existing tree will not take to being moved as it has not been undercut or prepared in advance. T6 Prunus cerasefera (Cherry Plum) Remove. This tree has partially collapsed a new Yew hedge is to be planted in this area and other woody shrubs such as Osmanthus have also been selected for this area.
