We would like to remove the white oak from our front garden asap as it is dying and dangerous. Its leaves start to dye from end June and many of the branches remain dead all year round. Some of these have fallen next door in number 11 and some in our front garden. We are very concerned that there could be an accident. The tree has been unwell for years and now got noticeably worse. A tree inspector (Ivan) came round to look at the tree on 14 December and confirmed all the above. I have been liaising with Claire Jakeman (Technician - Landscape and Open Spaces) and sent over photographic evidence. She confirmed I now just need to fill in this application form so I can be sent a notice to display.
