- Type:
- Tree and hedge works
- Status:
- The application is no longer active but no decision was made. Perhaps a split decision
- Address:
- Heatherling Church Lane Betley Crewe Staffordshir
- Description:
- T1 Sycamore The southern canopy of this tree has extended significantly over the garage of Heatherling. This is causing excessive shade which is leading to the early demise of the garage roof. The canopy will need to be reduced by 10-20% to re balance the tree which has grown significantly on the southern side.T2 SycamoreTree works consent has been granted and tree pruning has been carried out by number 9 Ladygates. However, the tree was only pruned on the northern side and when questioned about undertaking the crown reduction equally the contractor refused to do the work. Consent is now required to re balance the tree and in addition one single extended limb needs to be removed which extends significantly longer on the southern side than the rest of the canopy. Removal in the region of 2 metres from the southern side is generally required to maintain the tree in the situation where it can be retained within the urban environment without out growing its location.
