- Description:
- I would like to arrange for the pruning of the only tree in my garden since it is now protruding onto the house which could lead to damage to the property as it continues to grow. I propose to have it pruned back by a tree surgeon from approximately 7 meters to 6 meters (as per your guidance notes 'Partial reduction may be useful for preventing branchescontacting buildings, roofs and guttering"). As well as blocking light into one bedroom it also results in a lot of leaves falling into my neighbour's garden which has caused them to complain. Two experts have looked at the tree and the consensus is that pruning of this amount is appropriate. Surpringly a conclusive identification of the type of tree has been difficult to achieve and so I can only say that it is a non-fruit bearing tree that loses it's leaves in the winter and presents vibrant green leaves in the summer. The tree is positioned approximately 3 meters from my property.
