Description:
There are three mature Horse Chestnuts in the rear garden which have TPO's, a large branch recently fell from the first tree numbered T1 on the attached plan. The tree has suffered fire damage in the past and this is evident by the saprophytic fungi on the trunk and the sparse crown where the fire has scorched the trunk and branches. When you compare T1 against the other two you can clearly see T1 is in decline. Furthermore, the trunk bifurcates at approx 4mts above ground level and there is a cavity just below the fork which gives further cause for concern.
