Description:
Ash (marked T1 on sketch plan): crown reduction to reduce height and spread by 30%. The reason for the work is because the tree is located within 2m of the house wall, and has been causing substantial damage to the garden wall. The wall has been pushed by the roots outwards towards the road and pavement, and is at risk of causing a public safety hazard if it leans further and is therefore at risk of falling onto the pavement or road. We have also experienced some movement of walls at the side of the house, and have been advised by the insurance assessor that the tree should be reduced by at least 20% in order to prevent damage to the house.
