- Oak - fell because of considerable loss of light to our house and neighbours. Excessive shading to garden allowing nothing to grow and also area covered in acorns. The garden is unusable in the winter months. Low amenity value as shown in photograph, the loss of the tree would not impact on the overall greenness of the area. The tree is also growing into the avenue of council owned trees to the rear of the property. We are worried because of the size and spread of the tree so close to the house.
