Planning applications

- Type:
- Tree and hedge works
- Status:
- Status not known
- Address:
- 25 Hardwick Village Hardwick Wellingborough
- Description:
- Very large Spruce Tree in rear garden. I applied last year to remove this one, together with an identical tree in the front garden. Permission was granted to remove the tree in the front garden (which we have now done) and I agreed to monitor the safety of the tree in the rear garden. Having monitored it, I can now confirm that a limb (often very large) falls off every time there is a high wind/storm. My concerns are that this could be very dangerous to life, we have a young grandchild who likes to play in the garden. I am aware of the councils concern that removing this tree would spoil the view of our back garden from the Village square, but this at leat 1,000 yards away, and I do not share the Councils concern. Moreover, I believe removing the tree would be beneficial, as it would open the view from the Village green, to the many trees and fields currently hidden by it.
