Address:
85 The Crescent Davenport Stockpor
Description:
I have an area at the bottom of my garden which has been allowed to become overgrown by the previous owners. It is overgrown with brambles but the main issue is the ivy. This has been left for a number of years and has grown extensively up several mature trees at the rear of this area near to the boundary fence. I believe these to be Scots Pine. This ivy growth has caused these trees to be strangled and lacking light which has caused a lack of growth in the main tree. I wish to keep these trees and hope that with the removal of the ivy, they are able to return to their former glory. Unfortunately I am unable to properly access this area due to several self seeded sycamore trees, some of which themselves have been affected by the ivy growth. It is a combination of the ivy and sycamores which are strangling these pine trees both physically with the ivy and they are being starved of light by the sycamores.I wish to apply for permission to fell these Sycamores so that I can carry out necessary work to the Pine trees. No trees in the garden are subject of a TPO, but I need to apply for permission as it is in a conservation area. In total there are 6 sycamores which vary in height from 20 to 30 feet in height which have never been maintained. HAR/CA10, TPO 72N.
