- Ash tree at rear of no. 222 Kings Ash Road, marked T2 on plan, included in Area 1 of Tree Preservation Order of 27 Nov 1978. Proposed: fell the tree. Reasons for work: The tree is diseased and decaying. It is located on a steep slope, and if not felled is likely to fall across our septic tank and drain-field, and/or onto T3 immediately below it, and thence across the boundary onto a neighbour's property. T2, T3, and T4 are ash trees, which were allowed to mature too close together (before we purchased this property). There are many other trees nearby, as can be seen from the photographs, so in this instance replanting is not proposed. T1 was a damaged Norway Maple, felled under approval reference AT/2016/0020/TPO. T5 is a Devon Whitebeam planted to replace T1. T6 is a second Devon Whitebeam, planted as backup for T5.
