Description:
Concerning the Sawara Cypress tree (T1) as shown on the location plan of the TPO, ORD/10/00025, in the front garden of Lawson House, adjacent to the boundary fence on Bracknell Lane. There are two branches lower down the trunk on the east side of the tree that have grown down towards the fence. One of the branches is badly misshapen and it is bearing down on the boundary fence with foliage protruding over the fence. The other branch is growing down so that it will in time make contact with the fence.Permission is sought to partially reduce the crown on the east side of the tree by shortening the two lowest branches so that they are not bearing on or touching the fence but will still be able to grow. Proposed locations for cutting the branches are shown on the supporting photograph no. 103240b.7.1.16 ammendment crownlift same tree to 2-3m and remove snapped branches.
