- I have 3 trees in my back garden 2 silver birch and a sycamore The sycamore - the lower branches are bearing down with weight and almost touching the top of the fence and I'm worried about damage being caused. The spread across the access path to the neighbours garden and also across the back lane and into the garden of the house behind, The upper branches are now so wide that they are getting very close to my house and I'm worried that during a storm it might cause damage to my roof or the fence below The 2 silver birch are now taller than my house and the trunk is leaning towards the house, again almost touching the house, and I'm worried that during a storm it might cause damage to my roof During any stormy weather I'm getting branches falling, some of them are up to 2m in length To the front of my house the trees planted across the road are leaning towards the house, and are practically touching the house (they do touch my neighbour at number 2) - I'm worried that during a storm it might cause damage to my roof or to my car which is parked on my drive next to my house A tree surgeon has suggested the trees need to significantly cut back as all the growth is towards the house and so the trees will continue to lean towards the houses if left, ultimately inc
