- Status not known
- Address:
- 61 Swann Lane Cheadle Hulme Cheadl
- Description:
- Tree 1 is a cedar tree, identified as tree 1 on the sketch plan growing at the very front of my property about 3 feet from the road. I intend to remove the tree completely. The has grown up close to a very large Horse Chestnut tree which is in the neighbouring property. As a result of growing in a very shaded position it is now growing at an angle. Most branches on the most shaded side have died back. Although it is leaning to one side I don't believe it is dangerous at the moment. I don't think it is sensible to let it continue to grow in that position and I propose to take it down completely. I don't propose to plant another tree in the same position because of the shaded nature of the spot and close proximity to a very large tree. I do plan to plant a couple of shrub type plants in its place There is already a small Azalea and Holly bush in the same area and I would propose to add to them with two additional similar type plants. Tree 2 is a Leylandii tree at the very rear of the property close to the boundary palisade fence with the railway. I propose to remove this tree completely. The tree has grown very large and reduces considerably the light to the far end on my and my neighbour's gardens. It is of no amenity value and I propose to remove it completely. I don't intend to plant another tree in its place as I have two fruit trees close by and they will benefit from the increased light. I am planting some hedging plants on the boundary with the railway and will complete this in the space left by the removal of the Leylandii. The hedging is a mixed hedge of Yew, Privet and Pyracantha which I hope will provide a better screen to the railway and a habit and food for birds. HAR/CA26.
