Address:
84 Dinorben Close Fleet
Description:
Fell to approximate ground level two adjoining mature Lawson Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) which have been previously cabled back with the cables now cutting into the main stems affecting strength. T1 (subject to a TPO as tree number 3166) is in decline with significant die back throughout the crown and substantial cracking along the trunk. T2 (no specific TPO) is supported by a ratchet strap and cables from T1 and would otherwise fall due to angle of growth of the stems. We propose to replant with a suitable tree.

Address:
84 Dinorben Close Fleet Hampshir
Description:
Fell one mature Lawson Cypress (referenced under TPO HDC 1039-2001, tree 3170) to ground level as the tree has an overbearing effect on the garage and house due to proximity to the house and size of tree. There are several other mature trees in the garden (which are covered by conservation area planning regulations) and there is limited physical space to replant elsewhere. Replanting in the same location is likely to create similar management issues in the future as a replanted tree matures due to the proximity to the property, therefore we are not proposing to plant a replacement tree however we are happy to discuss further with Hart District Council.

Description:
Fell to approximate ground level one dead Lawson Cypress (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana) in centre of rear garden which has died in the last 12 months and at future risk of falling unless action is taken. The tree is not subject to a specific TPO but the application is being made as the tree is located within a conservation area. The attachment to the application shows a sketch plan and photo of the specific tree for which the work is proposed.
