Listed Building Consent sought for the removal of existing timber framed single glazed windows, to be replaced with timber double glazed units. One bedroom window is cracked and another window is permanently jammed open letting dirt and leaves etc into the bedroom. The windows are steamed up constantly and water pools on the window cills inside on a morning causing mould and as I have asthma this is bad for my health. Most people in our conservation area have these double glazed units which will bring us up to modern day standards whilst still retaining the existing traditional look and use of preferred materials(hardwood timber)
