1 No. Sycamore tree (T1) - Reduce height by up to 2m and reduce laterals (by 1-1.5m) to balance shape of crown. The tree is large and in close proximity to the house to the south-west both darkening the house and the garden. A modest reduction would reduce this to a limited degree (of which the owners are aware) and prevent the shading from worsening for some years. In addition roots are uplifting the driveway significantly now limiting access by vehicles without some contact with the underside of cars - pruning the tree is likely to reduce/stop root growth until the root/shoot equilibrium is recovered.
