- Description:
- APPLICATION FOR TREE WORKS: WORKS TO TREES SUBJECT TO A TREE PRESERVATION ORDER (TPO):This application form relates to proposals in aspect of two trees subject to TPOs, other proposed tree work is described in the covering letter. TPO 3091-an 18 meter oak tree located at the southern end of the rear garden. This tree (T1 in the attached plan) is about 1 meter from a taller and dominant beech tree and as a result its growth has been unbalanced. It is otherwise healthy. The beech tree is diseased and will be felled. In order to safeguard the long term health of 3091 and enable it to grow in a more balanced way we seek permission to:i). Remove dead wood.ii). Reduce lateral branches to the north, south and west of the canopy.iii). Remove one primary branch that produces a 1.1 meter overhang into the garden.TPO 3544-A silver birch growing in area A2 on the sketch map in a dense screen of trees on the boundary with Carthona Drive. The tree is growing through the canopy of an adjoining oak, with its trunk forming itself against a primary branch of the oak given the density of this group of trees, the number of silver birchs present, we seek permission to fell 3554-this will not reduce the level of screening a amenity value, but will facilitate growth of the oak.
