- Type:
- Tree and hedge works
- Status:
- Decision has yet to be made
- Address:
- 4 KINGS ORCHARD, ELTHAM, LONDON
- Description:
- Magnolia tree in front garden- fell because we want to pave the front garden to build a driveway, there are lack of free parking around the area, and we have visitors often. We will plant some small tree /bushes right at the front of our boundary wall. Holly tree in front garden- fell because we want to build a driveway, also it is close to the house so blocks some sunlight. We also want to build a gate on the side of the house and this tree is in the way. We were told the tree being so close to the house could also cause subsiding. Pine tree- in back garden fell because it blocks the view and light from the conservatory. We also plan to build an extension and the tree will be too close to the building which may cause subsiding. Small trees and bushes next to the pine tree - in back garden fell because it blocks the view and light into the conservatory. London plane sycamore tree - very large tree right at the back of the garden, fell because the tree is so big that the roots have damaged the boundary wall. It is also costly to maintain the tree. The leaves fall all over the garden in the autumn, making garden look messy.
