- Description:
- Tree identified at T1 on the plan is an upright golden Chamaecyparis approximately 6 metres high situated in a side border. This tree is not looking healthy - the foliage is scorched and becoming discoloured. I noticed in the recent high winds that the whole tree rocks at the roots and I am concerned that it will fall as it is clearly not well anchored. I suspect damage may have been done to the roots when landscaping works were carried out several years ago. We would like to remove this tree which is in the process of dying and replace it with an alternative more fitting for the garden. No other trees are affected by this application.
