Tree and hedge works
Status:
Status not known
Address:
24A Victoria Road Fleet Hampshir
Description:
NOTIFICATION OF PROPOSED WORKS TO TREES IN A CONSERVATION AREA:T1-Beech: Crown lift to 7m by removal of small low branches (diameter less than 100 mm) and shortening low hanging branches back to a suitable growth point. Carry out 15% crown thin to improve light into garden.T2-Norway maple: Fell. The tree is within 500mm of neighbour's garage and its canopy extends completely over the garage with branches touching it. It is considered that the tree is too close to the structure and its canopy is too large. Significant shading to conservatory and excessive drop of leaf and seed litter. There is already a very large Horse chestnut to the rear of the property which provides public amenity value.T3-Sycamore: Fell. The tree is within 1m of lean-to garage and neighbour's garage. Significant overhang and potential for future direct damage as the tree reaches its potential mature size. The tree is currently small and has no significant public amenity value.G1-Norway maple: Fell. Group of four young Norway maples. Together their roots appear to have caused significant distortation to the neighbour's block paved driveway. Removal will minimise the potential for future damage. The trees are young and have significant future growth potential but currently add little to the street scene.T6-Sycamore: Crown lift to 5m over pavement/road by removing three small branches with diameters of less than 100mm and shortening remaining branches to a suitable growth point. It is considered that the remaining trees T1, T4, T5 and T6 will provide continuity of amenity and screening between 24 and 24a.
