Pruning of overhanging trees from neighbouring properties, in a conservation area (Warberries). There are no TPOs.Purpose: to maintain them, prevent excessive root size and damage to our sump pump drain, boundary walls, retaining walls and structure. Remove dead and broken branches/trunks to prevent falling damage, cut back overhanging branches to the perimeter of the property. Falling debris onto our property is a nuisance, creating mess and work to clear up. As requested we have consulted with a qualified arborist to determine the species and approx age of the trees - using circumference of trunk at 1.5m from the ground, the rough rule of thumb is each 2.5cm of circumference equals a year, although there are exceptions. For example oaks and beeches are slow growers so dvidie by 1.88 and conifers are fast growers so divide by 3.13. Also this only really applies to trees so can't really be applied to shrubs, which also includes the Pittosporum (Kohuhu)Species:A.
