Planning applications
Planning ref:
July 2024 LBC/24/00956
Type:
Heritage application - conservation issues and listed buildings
Status:
Application approved with conditions
Address:
70 Central Road, Port Sunlight, Wirral,
Description:
The proposal is to replace the roof slates on the back of the building as they are damaged beyond repair and the poor condition of the roof is starting to cause internal damage. This has been advised by a couple of different parties who specialise in roof repairs on heritage buildings. The slates on the rear part of the roof will be removed as carefully as possible with a view to salvaging some to make minor repairs to the front of the property. The back of the roof will be re-done with new slates from Greys Artstone, a company that specialises reproduction roof products for listed buildings and conservation areas.
